Churches Together in Haydon Bridge will be holding a Beetle Drive on Friday 17th March between 6-8pm at the Methodist Chapel.

It will be great fun for all the family with lots of prizes and light refreshments. Tickets are available from Claire’s and the churches: Adults £3 and Children £1. Money raised will be in support of the churches in Haydon Bridge. Please do come along.

Our service on Sunday 12th March will include a dedication and blessing of our recently refurbished Altar Frontals which were originally designed according to the principles of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The frontals were expertly and painstakingly restored by the Revd Frances Dower, alongside her husband Robin.

Frances and Robin Dower have been invited to take part in the service. It is wonderful to welcome them, to express our appreciation and to say thank you to them both.

We will mark St Cuthbert’s Day this year with a special evening service at Haydon Old Church at 4pm on Sunday 19th March.

The service will be led by the Revd Gill Alexander and our visiting preacher will be the Revd Canon Stephen Wright, the Vicar of Haltwhistle, Greenhead and Beltingham with Henshaw.

Storybook Church usually takes place on the second Sunday of every month. However, the next session will be a week later—Sunday 19th March.

Please spread the word and encourage children and families to get involved on this Mothering Sunday.

We are invited to attend St Aidan’s Church, at Fourstones, on Wednesday evenings throughout Lent, incorporating Holy Week and Easter. It began on 1st March, and will continue  each Wednesday at 6.30pm.
